Owner of Academia De Danca
O Picardo, winner of the Africa Dançar 2014 Kizomba competition in Mozambique, began dancing at age seven, specialising in Marrabenta, Kuduro, and Kwassa. In 2012, he expanded into Kizomba, ballroom dance and tango, later founding his dance academy in Maputo in 2018. Holding a degree in Economics and a Post Graduate qualification in Teaching Methodology, he seamlessly integrates pedagogy into his dance instruction.
Having trained over 2,000 students and choreographed 23+ prom dances, as well as conducted workshops across Africa and Europe. Passionate about sharing the essence of dance, he continues to teach and inspire dancers worldwide.
