With a passion for rhythm, movement and connection, Kilson is a skilled and dedicated traditional kizomba and semba dance instructor who brings high energy to every class. He has a deep understanding of the dance’s cultural roots, having danced kizomba from his childhood in Angola, he also enjoys dancing kuduro and techno, with his capabilities in salsa and bachata displayed on the dance floor.
He has spent years honing his craft and began sharing his love for kizomba and semba with students at all levels, in Cape Town since 2022. Kilson’s teaching approach focuses on fostering a relaxed and supportive environment where students can feel comfortable connecting with the music and their partners. Whether you are a beginner taking your first steps or an advanced dancer looking to refine your technique, Kilson provides personalised guidance that helps students develop their skills and confidence in kizomba and semba.
When he is not teaching or attending socials, Kilson enjoys adventure and outdoor activities.You can look forward to a dynamic, fun-filled Kizomba experience where you will learn not just the steps, but also the essence of this beautiful, intimate dance!
